Jeonnam Dragons (Jeonnam) will strive to find local soccer talent.
Jeonnam conducted a program to discover local soccer talents with the Jeonnam Football Association. The program was held for Mokpo Science University, Chodang University, Jeonnam Science University, and Dongshin University, where the soccer department is located in Jeollanam-do. The purpose is to discover local soccer talents and expand infrastructure.
The second program, which was held in June for players selected in the first program, was attended by first-designated players and third-year Gwangyang Steel High School players. The program, which was held for three days from Tuesday, the 10th, was an opportunity to demonstrate one’s skills without regret through joint training, physical fitness tests, and practice games with professional teams. “Jeonnam is very interested in discovering and fostering local soccer talents. This program has given us time to check out local soccer talents and we will continue to strive for the development of local soccer,” Jeonnam coach Lee Minister said.
A South Jeolla Province official said, “This program with the Jeonnam Football Association was operated to develop local soccer. We will continue to provide opportunities for South Jeolla Province’s soccer talents to grow into competitive players on the K-League stage.”
