NC pounded out 19 hits in the first and second innings to win 10-7 against the KIA Tigers of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field on Sunday.
NC unleashed a one-sided offense against rookie Yoon Young-chul in the third inning. Leadoff hitter Son As-seop opened the inning with a 먹튀검증 triple to the side of the right field fence. NC’s Park Min-woo went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, while Son As-seop, Park Gun-woo, Seo Ho-cheol, and Do Tae-hoon each had three hits to spark the offense. Park Min-woo, Martin, Do Tae-hoon, and Ahn Jung-yeol each had two hits.
Socrates’ RBI single in the fourth inning saved KIA’s face. In the bottom of the seventh inning, they scored six runs in order. After Socrates walked and Kim Kyu-sung doubled, Lee Chang-jin hit a three-run home run to left field to narrow the gap.
Park Chan-ho followed with a double and Byun Woo-hyuk singled to right. Lee Woo-sung capitalized on the opportunity with a walk and a single by the opposing pitcher (Kim Young-kyu) to extend the lead to 7-10. Choi tied the record for most hits (1498) held by legendary Lee Seung-yeop.
