The Korea Professional Football Federation announced on the 4th that fan voting for the “EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month” in August of the 2024 season will be held for four days from the 5th to the 8th.
The “EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month Award” is an award given by the Korea Professional Football Federation and the official video game partner Electronic Arts (EA) of the K League to the player who performed the best every month. Lee scored the final goal in both the 26th round match against Pohang Steelers and 28th round against Gangwon, leading Seoul to victory. He was named the MOM and Round Best 11. Lee was nominated for the Player of the Month award for the first time since his debut in the K-League.
The Player of the Month award honors four candidates selected through the first round of voting (60 percent) by the TSG Technical Committee of the Federation, with the second round of K-League fan voting (25 percent) and EAFC online user voting (15 percent). The winners will then be determined by summing up the results of the first and second rounds.
