The full-fledged national soccer team began preparations for the Palestinian match with a heated atmosphere.

The Korean national soccer team led by Coach Hong Myung-bo began its second day of training at Goyang Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. The team will set sail for Palestine (home) and Oman (away road) in Group B of the third Asian qualifying round for the 2026 North-China World Cup.

The national team, which had 19 out of 26 players gathered for training at 5 p.m. the previous day, postponed it for two hours to 7 p.m.

There was a reason. Due to the delayed schedule of matches between European players including Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur), Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain), Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich), and Hwang In-beom (Feyenoord), they returned home via Incheon International Airport in the morning and afternoon on the same day.

Notably, Hwang left Serbia’s Tsurvena or Zvezda and returned home with a ceremony to join Feyenoord, a prestigious Dutch club, which delayed his return to Korea. As soon as he arrived at the airport, he moved to a hotel in Goyang, the home of the national team, and came to the training site.

The team originally planned to hold a team meeting and start training. However, he immediately warmed up at the training site without a meeting in consideration of various issues, including fatigue caused by long-distance travel by late participants. Tactical training was also conducted behind closed doors after 15 minutes of disclosure.

While warming up after running lightly on the ground, Kim Min-jae’s unique chant of “chua” was heard. It was a good sound to raise the intensity of the training, and his colleagues followed suit. It was clearly different from the first day when it was somewhat quiet.

Coach Hong Myung-bo led the team in two groups with the coaching staff including Joao Arroso. The Rondo exercise where the players spin the ball returned to two groups and watched from their respective positions. Son Heung-min and Hwang In-beom focused their training on the ground riding bicycles. 스포츠토토

Those who are enthusiastic about Rondo were joyous. Notably, Yang Min-hyuk (FC Kangwon FC), the youngest and high school student striker, was showing off his fighting spirit by watching the older brothers’ movements. Manager Hong was smiling while staring down Yang.

The national team will hold official training after an official press conference a day before the match against Palestine at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 4th.
