In his last seven games, Iboldi has allowed just four runs in 52 2/3 innings pitched. His ERA in that span is a whopping 0.68.

Texas is currently without ace Jacob deGrom, 35, on the mound. However, Iboldi’s performance has completely erased his absence.

Iboldi’s performance has even earned him a spot in the American League Cy Young Award conversation. The last time Iboldi received votes in the Cy Young voting was in 2021. He finished fourth.
