“Just two weeks after ending his association with PSG, Galtier could take charge of the Italian Serie A champions in the 2022/23 season,” French media outlet L’Equipe reported on Nov. 15 (KST).
While no official announcement has been made yet, it is widely expected that Galtier will soon hang up his boots and leave PSG.
After leading fellow French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice to a fifth-place finish in the 2021/22 season, Galtier challenged for the top spot at PSG ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, but failed to meet the expectations of the club and its fans.
Under Galtier, PSG won the league, but suffered early exits in both the UEFA Champions League and the French cup competition, the Coupe de France, in the round of 16.
