Asan FC, Chungcheongnam-do, conducted its first vitamin school in 2024 in Dunpo Elementary School.
Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, successfully completed its first “Vitamin School” in 2024, which was held by visiting Dunpo Elementary School (hereinafter referred to as Dunpo Elementary School) located in Dunpo-myeon, Asan-si on the 24th.
Vitamin School is a representative regional close-up program of Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, which has been going on since the team’s predecessor, Asan Mugunghwa, in 2017. Chungnam Asan athletes visit elementary schools in Chungcheongnam-do to conduct soccer clinics with children to encourage healthy physical education activities of local children.
About 30 students from Dunpo Elementary School participated in the vitamin school, which was a daily lecturer at RK Jung-su and Han Jung-su, and the school was held in the second class of the fifth grade due to rain. Starting with a brief introduction of the players, the students formed a team with the players and had mini-games such as speaking with their bodies and spinning towels. Afterwards, they held a Q&A session and took a group photo in a free atmosphere, promising their next meeting.
Han Jung-soo said, “I participated in a soccer clinic for the first time since joining the army, and it was a meaningful time. It was a shame that I couldn’t exercise outdoors due to rain, but it was fun to make small and enjoyable memories in the classroom. If there are events for children in the future, I will actively participate.”
Sohn Hye-young, an employee of the team’s public relations and marketing team, said, “We plan to continue to capture the hearts of potential youth fans in Asan, South Chungcheong Province, through the soccer classroom program this year. Meanwhile, Asan will play the 10th round of the “Hana Bank K League 2 2024” against FC Anyang at 4:30 p.m. on May 4 at Yi Sun-shin Stadium. On the same day, Asan plans to hold a home game with various events to celebrate Family Month in May and Children’s Day on May 5.
