Corey Seager of the Texas Rangers of the American professional baseball Major League wrote a new history. He set the record for most walks in a postseason game. He led the team to victory by recording 5 walks with an amazing first pitch.레모나토토

Seager started in the away game of Game 2 of the 2023 Major League Baseball Postseason Division Series against the Baltimore Orioles held at Oriole Park in Baltimore, Maryland, USA on the 9th (Korean time). He entered the game as a shortstop and batted second and reached base as many as five times. He came to bat at number 6 and went 0-for-1, walked 5, and scored 2 runs, helping Texas to an 11-8 win.

He was reborn as a ‘walk machine’ in the postseason. He recorded 4 hits and 3 walks in 8 at-bats in two games against the Tampa Bay Rays and the Wild Card Race, and went 1 hit and 2 walks in 3 at-bats in Game 1 of the division series against Baltimore. And he added 5 walks in Game 2. He provided a boost to Baltimore’s offense this season, allowing as many as 11 walks in three postseason games.

Seager played for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2015 to 2021. I had a meal with Ryu Hyun-jin, who played for the Dodgers from 2013 to 2019. He has been playing in a Texas uniform since 2022. He appeared in 151 games last season and had a batting average of .245, 33 home runs, 83 RBI, an on-base percentage of 0.317, a slugging percentage of 0.455, and an OPS of 0.772. Although he was mired in injuries this season, he appeared in 119 games and recorded a batting average of 0.327, 33 home runs, 96 RBI, an on-base percentage of 0.390, a slugging percentage of 0.623, and an OPS of 1.013.

Riding on the performance of Seager, who demonstrated his ‘walk instinct’, Texas ran for four consecutive wins this postseason. They are drawing even more attention because they won all away games against teams in the American League’s Eastern Division, known as the ‘Fear Aldong’. In the Wild Card Series, they won two games in a row against Tampa Bay, and in the Division Series, they beat Baltimore, which had the highest winning percentage (0.623) in the American League in the regular season, 3-2, 11-8, putting them on the verge of advancing to the Championship Series. They are producing a ‘surprise’ against the 1st and 2nd place teams of ‘Fear Aldong’, who recorded 99 and 101 wins in the regular season.

Texas will play Game 3 of the division series against Baltimore at home on the 11th. If we win this game, we will advance to the championship series. If they advance to the Championship Series, they will meet the winner of the Houston Astros-Minnesota Twins Division Series. Houston and Minnesota are tied with 1 win and 1 loss in the division series.
