The Doosan Bears will depart for Sydney, Australia, the first off-season training site, through Incheon International Airport on the 29th.

The number of camp personnel is a total of 56 including 14 coaching staff including head coach Lee Seung-yeop and 42 players.

Twenty-one pitchers, four catchers, 10 infielders and seven outfielders will participate in the camp. Among the rookies, pitcher Kim Taek-yeon, a first-round pick, and outfielder Jeon Da-min, a sixth-round pick, were listed.

Pitchers Kim Kang-ryul, Kim Myung-shin, and Choi Seung-yong are set to harden themselves at the second-tier camp due to the coaching staff’s consideration to slowly improve their physical condition. The same applies to veteran infielder Kim Jae-ho.

Kim Kang-ryul struggled last year due to injury and sluggish performance. He had one win, seven holds, one save and an earned run average of 4.21 in 25 ⅔ innings in 32 games. Kim played as an all-weather player in the middle of the game. He garnered three wins, three losses, 24 holds, and an earned run average of 3.65, in 79 innings in 70 games. He is also tying for third in the league hold. Kim was responsible for 79 ⅔ innings in 68 games in 2022. He has surpassed 79 innings for the second consecutive year.

Choi traded between starters and relievers last season. He pitched in the middle of the game after rotating the rotation, before rejoining the starting lineup. He garnered three wins, six losses, one save, and an ERA of 3.97 in 111 innings in 34 games. Kim Jae-ho, the oldest player born in 1985, rebounded somewhat last year. He had a batting average of 0.283 (70 hits in 247 at-bats) with three homers and 29 RBIs in 91 games.

Doosan will conduct its first off-season training from Feb. 1 to Feb. 19. After building his body at Blacktown Ballpark in Sydney, Australia, he plans to strengthen his sense of play in the actual game through three games between Cheongbaek and Cheongbaek. 라바카지노주소

He will then return to Korea on Feb. 19 and take a rest for a day. He will depart for Miyazaki, Japan, his second training site, on Feb. 21. The second camp will feature a total of seven games with Japanese pro baseball teams and one game with an independent league team, including participation in the Guchun competition. Notably, the team will hold an exhibition game against the Softbank Hawks at the Fukuoka Pay Dome on March 3. The game will be held in an environment similar to that of the official game, with admission to paid spectators being held.

Doosan’s team is scheduled to return home on March 6 after completing all their schedules.
