The women’s national basketball team suffered a 20-point loss in its second exhibition game against Latvia.

The Korea Women’s National 스포츠토토 Basketball Team lost its second exhibition game against Latvia, 50-76, on Nov. 11 (KST) at Arena Riga in Riga, Latvia.

This was the second time the women’s team lost by more than 20 points in a row, following a 60-82 loss in their first exhibition game on Tuesday.

South Korea, which started Ahn Hye-ji, Kang Isul, Park Ji-hyun, Kim Dan-bi, and Park Ji-soo, fought to a 31-31 tie at the end of the first quarter and a relatively tight 50-56 lead after three quarters.

However, they failed to score a single point in the fourth quarter and were stifled by Latvia’s defense, ending the game in a disappointing defeat.

Park Ji-soo scored 11 points in 13 minutes and 53 seconds, and Kang Isul had 10 points in 18 minutes and 3 seconds. However, South Korea’s shooting efficiency was poor on the day, as they shot just 26.6 percent from the field. It was also painful to lose the rebounding battle, losing the height battle 26-47. Their paint-zone scoring margin was also -16 points (14-30).

After playing two exhibition games against Latvia, the Women’s National Team will wrap up their training camp in Latvia and continue their preparations for the Asia Cup after returning home.
